SOhS keeps data collection limited and purpose-driven. A full policy should be completed before payments, analytics, or expanded account features go live.
Anonymous visit counting
SOhS uses privacy-friendly anonymous visit counting to understand whether the public website is being used. It stores a random browser ID in localStorage, the visited path, and a timestamp.
SOhS does not store IP addresses for this feature, does not collect personal data for visitor counts, and does not expose raw visitor events publicly.
Current status
Account, submission, and donation systems are still early. Future versions should expand this page with clear disclosures for authentication, moderation records, donations, and any optional communication preferences.
