The website is the primary product today. Future mobile apps should reuse the same backend only after the public website, moderation, and content workflows are stable.

A public knowledge platform should be linkable, searchable, readable, and accessible before it becomes an app. Web-first publishing helps articles, policies, corrections, and public pages remain available to anyone with a browser.
Shared backend future
SOhS uses Supabase for authentication, profiles, submissions, moderation records, and published content. Future Android and iOS apps can reuse the same backend when the app experience is genuinely ready.
Trust is built through constraints
Moderated submissions
User submissions are reviewed before public visibility. SOhS may use automated safety checks, but human moderation remains central.
Editorial independence
Donations, popularity, pressure, or user demands do not buy conclusions, article placement, or moderation outcomes.
Privacy-conscious by default
SOhS uses privacy-friendly visitor counting, limited account data, and country-level submission metadata instead of precise location tracking.
No heavy spectacle
SOhS avoids unnecessary AI spectacle, heavy animation, 3D effects, and mobile-first distractions. The priority is clear reading, careful submission, and responsible review.
